• Review global and national literature and methodologies, and existing policies, particularly economic reform and trade policies.
• Conduct a national launching workshop
• Select a sector according to the socio-economic, environmental and trade liberalization sensitivity criteria.
• Create a steering committee to guide the project
• Hold steering Committee meetings
• Assemble a multidisciplinary team to carry out the study of the project
• Undertake detailed field study that would concentrate on the specific sector
• Submit a project report
• Conduct and EIA of Alternatives to Methyl Bromide
• Perform a cost benefit analysis for every crop integrating every alternative
• Assess impact of trade liberalization on the crops where Methyl Bromide is used
• Design policies to succeed with Phasing out of
