Aim		Strengthen national capacity to manage persistent organic pollutants (POPs) and to assist the government of Lebanon in meeting its obligations under the Stockholm Convention

Objectives		(1) Strengthening the capacity to implement the POPs Convention through the development of a National Implementation Plan for the management of POPs and (2) the elaboration of detailed specific action plans that will identify effective national responses, processes and measures that would reduce releases of POPs
