After attending the conference in Japan a friend and I decided to petition local and state parliament with the list that we created at the conference and also educate local schools about what is happening to our environment and how to help. At the moment we are in the process of making our local area plastic bag free.

I thought it was an amazing experience and was the most inspiring place. To have other people around your age who have done so much just makes you feel like you have to help. I loved it and wish I could do it again and again and again.
