*Biodiversity, *Poverty Issues
African Bird Migration Project attempts to link up all the ngo, schools and universities. involved with environmental education, conservation, sustainable development and research in our focus areas. We focus on the tracking of Intra African, as well as Palearctic Migratory Birds, as well as on specific biomes and the organisms that form part of these biomes. The project main focus is on loss of biodiversity and poverty alleviation in areas we are working in. We attempt to deal with these issues in a number of ways, these being with education, sharing of teaching resources through the website and skills development, promoting. research into data deficient species and assisting conservation measures of sensitive area through the Promotion
and Education on international agreements/organizations.
Education
•Making a set of card materials to be used both in the classroom as well as in the field to teach the learners about the birds, their biomes etc
•Habitat studies give the child the opportunity to visit the outdoor area and mark the seasonal changes.
•Habitat studies will be done by learners who live close enough to wetland areas so that these areas are easily accessible..
•Participants need to share information with participants from other countries and in this way learn more about their cultures, countries and conservation measures.
Sharing of information with particpants from other countries is vital to our project
Sharing of habitat studies, sharing of consveration projects on the notice board on the internet. Ngos or schools are welcome to join in with our projects
