*Impression of Children's World Summit for the Environment 2005 Aichi

the world summitt was excellent - a mileestone in the development of the two young people that attended.  it was wonderful having His Highness Prince Akishino and his family take part in the summitt. William, the boy I brought to the summitt, made a Samurai Warrior from recycled materials, he brought this home to England and then we took it around to other schools and to our sponsors to tell them all baout our trip.  Holly and William made a Diary and we presented a copy to our sponsors.

*Others

Since our return we are moving into a brand new school 27 February, and we have told the builders that we want things that are environmental friendly such as recycled seating benches for outside made from recycled plastic. we will be harvesting our rainwater to use for flushing the toilets. we have planted lots of trees and we are going to build a new garden. We have been taking part in the Climate change programme Wathing for Spring with planting Red Admiral Tulips The world Summitt has encouraged us all to work much harder to protect the environment and make this world a much better place for everyone.
