The members for our project are all school children from the neighborhood age group 10 to 15. We all come together and have formed a club by the name of "For Future , for All" and our major activities involve tree plantation, cleaning certain temples in the community, getting more and more children to participate in our activities and ultimately make them our members.
*Nature Conservation, *Wastes and Recycling, *Peace Issues
We aim to involve children in environmental activities , to help them make contribution in every small and in every big way that they can. Our project is made with the intention of inculcating in young children the idea and importance of a clean environment, to share it with all . To help these children preserve and protect the mother earth and to keep their efforts and enthusiasm alive is out main target.
"Our Dream" is a project that involves :
• Tree plantation
• Painting competition
• Story telling
• Experience sharing
• Story writing
Children gather every Saturday and public holiday for about few hours and enjoy painitng anf telling stories about mother earth and keep recycling or water or nature as their theme for a particular day . IF there are many children we divide them into groups .according to their age and they have fun while sharing information. Our participant of the Children coference in Nagya , japan shares her experience with the other children of what all she saw there and how she was inspired to initiate this project. Our child delegate is guided by her very own project leader, who is the main co ordinator of this children club.
Due to lack of fund we haven't been able to make a website or take pictures and take out our news letters and activities related .
We can share experiences with other groups by using the project leaders email address.
We are very encouraged by the work children are doing all over the world and thank the concerned people for creating a platform like the children's conference for giving us the opportunity to come together and make our goals all the same- to protect the mother earth.
We want to thank Japan Organizing Committee for the 2005 Children's World Summit for the Environment for creating a platform like the children's conference and for giving us the opportunity to come together with other children form around the globe and make our goals all the same- to protect the mother earth. Above all we also thank you for the wonderful hospitality and giving us a chance to see your most beautiful country.
