Many of us come from the middle class business families and live near Holy Ganges. We have a forest department just opposite to our school and We go there for a day out every year and sometimes for project as well this gives Us many inspirations, calm and peaceful atmosphere, enjoy seeing Dolphins.

Our locality has the opportunity to have some rare species like dolphins, several Migratory birds and variety of fishes. This is all because of plantation area, river Ganga and climate. But, if we continue to destroy our environment, we may have
To lose them. So, it becomes one of our aim to save them and beautify our society. We have planted number of trees in our school campus and also put water. Tarumitra Seminar was conducted by Sr. Prema, and it brought more awareness
Among the students. We also encouraged to participate in our group and help our Neighbourhood. The rapid development in civilization has led to an environmental degradation That has resulted in Global warming, decreasing oxygen level in the air and water, Deforestation, lack of portable water resources and rainfall. Now it becomes our Responsibility to take adequate steps to improve the environmental conditions so That we and our future generation may survive. The mission of our Tarumitra group is to save our environment so that we may get Our basic needs – oxygen, water and pollution free atmosphere. Now, when the use of automobiles are increasing manifold, hardly we have place left for us, where we can sit for a few minutes and inhale fresh air. Our Tarumitra group, in a small way tries to make our locality a better place to Live by planting more and more trees. This can be a solution to many different Types of problems of our locality like availability of drinking water, global
Warming, rainfall, soil etc. The first thing that is included in this mission is Awareness among the people regarding the need to save the environment. They Need to be explained about the importance of trees. We have the oxygen belt in Our school. It is maintained by us.Our mission begins from our school where we have plenty of greenery full Diversified plants. Besides this, we have started our mission by planting several Trees and taking care of them encouraging our neighbours too. We join hands with Our local NGO group namely Global environmental organization.

Who aim in making the environment a better place to live in. The most important activity is to spread awareness among the people of our locality to save our earth by planting more and more trees and exploiting our natural resources in a destructive way.
Our group aims at achieving the goal of availability of drinking water, pollution free atmosphere and taking steps in our own possible way for the fulfillment of our goal.
It also co-operates with Tarumitra groups of different environmental activities. Our group encourages more and more people to join the group and put in their best effort in achieving their mission. The group is in regular contact of local Global Environmental
Organization (GEO) and other communicates with others groups in regard to environmental activities.
*Most importnat way of thinking of your group/project for environment
The key behind any success is right thinking and putting the effort in the right direction.The first thing there should that should be done is to look into the problems being faced, like availability of portable water, increase in temperature, indefinite flood and drought, decreasing resources, oxygen deplection etc. then the root cause of all these problems should be looked for and lastly, steps should be taken to eradicate these problems.The Tarumitra group finds that the root cause of this is increase in population that has resulted into deforestation to satisfy their needs. The group finds the only solution in the form of efforestation. As the name tells "TARUMITRA" – "A FRIEND OF TREES", the group encourages to plant more and more trees and give their best efforts in achieving the goal not only in our school but in our local area of reach.

To combat the hazards of Environment eve have been sharing our views to create an awareness we implore people to plant trees. To avoid the use of plastics. We conduct Seminars and Tarumitra workshop. Save trees save the earth is our request, we urge to use water and electricity wisely we try not to misuse any natural resources.
*Impression of Children's World Summit for the Environment 2005 Aichi
To students who visited Japan for Children's world summit has a wonderful experience. They shared with us their experiences, they had of seeing how dirty water can be recycled and reused. Various Video clipping undertaken by the students on how to save energy, water and air are seen. We are trying to put them into practice. We have campaigned against the ecological imbalance created by the people. In order to do something to save environment. We earnestly request the people to conserve the agents of Environment.

We in a small way have tried in every small way to encourage our people for the protection of Nature. We called people from different Organizations and they talked to the students of our school and created an awareness through different functions and talking about them. We took part in guises conducted by the GEO club (Global Environment Organisation). It boosted our activities and eve filled with excitement. Sr. Prema encouraged us more and told us to carry out the activities at a larger level. It has been difficult to stop the use of plastics, but we have succeeded in curtailing the use of plastics.
